| Download the template (VTS.VST) and stencil (VTS.VSS) files to the same folder. Open the stencil to begin drawing. If Visio warns you about possible macro viruses, select "Enable Macros" (you may need to do this twice in Visio 2003) |
| In Visio 2002 you can place the files in a subfolder of your solutions folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Visio10\1033\Solutions\Software), so that VTS is offered as a solution type when creating a new drawing. |

In Visio 2003, create a Solutions folder in your Visio path, and
a Software folder in it (e.g. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Visio11\Solutions\Software).
Place the files in this folder and then add the Solutions folder as an additional template location:
Tools | Options | Advanced | File Paths | Templates =
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Visio11\Solutions. Suggestion: add it to the Stencils path too, so that VTS.VSS opens automatically when you open a VTS drawing from any location. |
| The current version of the VTS solution has been tested with Visio XP (2002) and Vision 2003 in English. If you are using any other version of Visio and experience problems, please notify us. |
Exporting Visio scenarios to other tools |
| To use your scenario as input for other tools, save it as an XML Visio Drawing (through the File | Save as... command), the resulting .vdx file can be fed into other tools. |
